Sneaker Back Wreath Charm 2 Ways

Materials Used

Small amounts #3 cotton crochet thread in various colors Size 2 steel crochet hook

Hot glue gun



Braid

Ch 8 and join with a sl st to form a ring.

Row 1. Ch 2 and make a 2-dc cl in the s2-dc cl

me st. Ch 2 and make a 3 dc cl in the next st.

Row 2. Ch 1 and turn. Sl st into the ch 2 sp. Ch 2 ( counts as 1st leg of the cl now and always) and make a 2 dc cl. Ch 2 and make a 3 dc cl. Rep this row for desired length. (The one shown is 11".)


When desired length is reached, ch 1 and turn. Sl st into the ch 2 sp. Ch 8 and sl st back into the ch 2 sp. End off and weave in the end.


Wreath


Step 1. Wrap green thread around your index finger 4 times. Ch 1 and *sc in the ring. Ch 2* about 8 times. Join to the beg sc with a sl st. End off and weave in all ends.


Step 2. Thread a darning needle with Red thread and weave through the wreath as shown below. Making sure to leave about a 4" tail at each end.

Tie both tails into a bow and set aside.


Placing Wreaths on Charm.


Glue the 1st wreath to the center of the charm.

Trim ends and glue to the middle of piece.

Space out each wreath and glue in place as shown above.


Single Lace Charm


Make a foundation as shown below.

Make and glue only one wreath to piece.
