Materials

Scraps of different colors of #4 worsted weight yarn. Size G crochet hook. St marker. Darning needle and scissors. Enough clothes pins for each pair of socks.

With color 1, make a magic ring.

Rnd 1. Ch 1 and make 6 sc in the ring. Do NOT join, but do mark the 1st beg sc, now and throughout. (6 sc made.)

Rnd 2. Ch 1 and make 2 sc in each st around. (12 sc made.) End off color 1 and weave in the end.

Rnd 3. Join color 2 in the last st worked and sc in each st around. (12 sc made.)

Rnds 4-7. Sc in each of the 12 sts around. Do NOT end off but secure the working loop.

Heel

Row 1. Join color 2 in the next st. Ch 1 and sc in the same st.

Sc in each of the next 5 sts. Ch 1 and turn. (6 sc made.)

Rows 2 and 3. Sc in each of the 6 sc across. Ch 1 and turn

Row 4. Sc in each st across. Ar end of row, end off color 1 leaving a 12" tail. Thread tail through darning needle and sew back seam.

Instep

Rnd 1. Pick up the color 1 loop you secured earlier. Make 6 sc across heel and 6 sc across top. (12 sc made.)

Rnds 2 - 9 Sc in each of the 12 sts around.

Net Pouch

Rnd 1. With any color yarn ch 29. Dc in the 6th ch from hook.

(Ch 2, sk 2 chs, dc in the next ch) across until the end ch. In end ch make (dc, ch 2 and dc.) Wokin on the opposite side of ch, (ch 2, sk 2 chs, dc in the next ch) across until the end.

Ch 2, and sl st into the 4th ch to end the rnd. (18 dc made.)

Rnd 2. Ch 5 and dc in the next dc. (Ch 2 and dc in the next dc around. End with ch2 and sl st into the 4th ch of the beg ch 5.

Rep rnd 2 eight more times or more for more socks.

Finishing

Ch 1 and (make 2 sc in each ch-2 space around. Join to the beg Sc with a sl st. End off and weave in the end.

Tie for Pouch

Ch about 80. Knot both ends and weave through the top. Gather pouch and tie.
