Materials Needed:
3 ounces of Brown Worsted Weight Yarn – Red Heart Super Saver used. 1 ounces of Yellow. Worsted Weight Yarn – Red Heart Super Saver used. 1/2 ounces of White Worsted Weight Yarn – Red Heart Super Saver used. (Add ½ ounce to brown and yellow for sizes med and large.)
Darning needle. Sewing needle and Brown Thread. 2-3 ounces of fiberfill. 1 ½ feet of 1” wide elastic.

Join to 1st sc with sl st. End off and weave in ends. Set piece aside.
Pin front and back tog. Attach brown yarn at top left. Crochet both pieces tog inserting hook through both thicknesses and sc evenly around.
Do not completely close, but leave top open and stuff. Continue sc across top. Join to 1st sc with sl st. End off leaving a 20″ tail.
Wings – Make 2
With white and I hook, ch 5.

Rnd 5: (Sc in next 3, sc next 2 tog) 2 times. (8 sc made.)

Casing
With brown and I hook, ch and join to first ch to form a circle.
Rnd 1: Ch 1 and sc in each ch around. Do not join.
Rnd 2: Sc in each st around.
Repeat rnd 2 until piece is 8 (9, 10) inches long. End off leaving a 12″ tail and set aside.
Cut 2 pieces of 1″ wide elastic 6 (6 ½” ,7″ ) long. Weave elastic through casing and sew through casing and elastic to secure.
Sew to body as shown below.
To wear simply place babies arms through strap openings.
