- ½ ounce Green worsted weight yarn
- Scraps of White, Black and Red Worsted weight yarn
- 1 ½” Key ring
- Darning needle and Scissors

Body
With Green yarn and size H crochet hook, ch 8 and join to 1st ch made with sl st.
Rnd 1. Ch 1 and make 9 sc in the ring. Do not join but do mark the beginning st now and throughout. (9 sc made.)
Rnd 2. Sc in each st around to beg marker. (9 sc made.)
Rnd 3. (Sc in each of the next 2 sts. Make 2 sc in the next st) around to beg marker. (12 sc made.)
Rnd 4. (Sc in each of the next 3 sts. Make 2 sc in the next st) around to beg marker. (15 sc made.)
Rnd 5. (Sc in each of the next 4 sts. Make 2 sc in the next st) around to beg marker. (18 sc made.)
Rnd 6. (Sc in each of the next 5 sts. Make 2 sc in the next st) around to beg marker. (21 sc made.)
Rnd 7. (Sc in each of the next 6 sts. Make 2 sc in the next st) around to beg marker. (24 sc made.)
Rnd 8. Sc in each st around to beg marker. (24 sc made.)
Repeat row 8 until the piece is 41/2″ long.
End off and weave in the end. Set aside
Eyelids
With green yarn and H hook, make a magic circle.
Rnd 1. Make 7 sc in the circle, do not join.
Rnd 2. Make 2 sc in each st around. (14 sc made)
Rnd 3. Sc in the next st, make 2 sc in the next st) around. (21 sc made.) End off leaving a long tail.
Fold the circle in half and sew the rounded open side closed.
Eyeballs
With white yarn and size F hook (we want the eyeballs to be smaller and a tighter weave.) Make a magic circle. Rnd 1. Ch 1 and make 5 sc in the ring. Do not join.
Rnd 2. Make 2 sc in each st around. (10 sc made.)
Rnd 3. (Sc in the next st, inc in the next st) 5 times. (15 sc made.)
Rnd 4. Sc in each of the 15 sts around.
Rnd 5. (Sc in the next st, sc the next 2 sts tog) 5 times. (10 sc made.)
Rnd 6. (Sc next 2 sts tog) 5 times. End off leaving a long tail.
Mark the center of the Fob body as shown below. Also mark between the 6th and 7th rows.
Pin and sew the flat part of the eyelids to the fob body as shown below.
With Black yarn embroider pupils as shown below.
Fill the eyeball with yarn Scraps. With the tail and a darning needle, weave the opening closed. With the hot glue gun, glue the eyeballs to the inside of the lid as shown below.
Tongue
With red yarn and H hook ch 21. Sl st in the 2nd ch from the hook and in each of the next 4 chs. Sc in each of the next 5 chs. Hdc in each of the next 9 chs. Ch 2 and sl st in the end ch. Ch 2 and turn to work on the opposite side of the ch. Hdc in each of the next 9 chs. Sc in each of the next 5 chs. Sl st in each of the last 5 chs. Join to 1st sl st made. End off and weave in all ends.
Securely sew the key ring to the wide part of Tongue. Weave the tip of the tongue up through the center of the fob holder and set aside.
Fly
With Black and H hook make a magi. Circle.
Rnd 1. Ch 1 and make 6 sc in the ring. Do not join.
Rnd 2. Make 5 sc around skipping 1 sc for a dec. (5 sc made.)
Rnd 3. Sc in each of the 5 sc around.
Rnd 4. Make 4 sc around skipping 1 sc for a dec. (4 sc made.)
Rnd 5. Sc in each of the 4 sc around.
Rnd 6. Make 3 sc around skipping 1 sc for a dec. (3 sc made.) Stuff the body very lightly using scraps of black yarn. Sk 1 sc and sc in the next sc. End off and weave In the end. Set aside.
Wings
With white and H hook, ch 8. Make 2 hdc in the 3rd ch from the hook. Sc in the next ch. Sl st in each of the next 2 chs. Sc in the next ch. Make 5 hdc in the end ch. Working on the opposite side of the ch, make a sc in the next ch. Sl st in each of the next 2 chs. Sc in the next ch. Make 2 hdc in the same st where you began. Join. To the top of the beginning ch 3 with a sl st. End off and weave in the end.
Sew the wings To the back of the fly and then sew the fly to the tip of the tongue.
