Fox Feet: Sole – Make 2:
With Dark Orange worsted yarn. and size G hook, ch 9.
Rnd 1: Make 3 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Sc in next 5 sts. Make hdc in next ch. Make 5 hdc in the last ch. Working along the opposite side of ch; hdc in next st. Sc in the last 5 sts. Do not Join but do mark the 1st. (20 sts.)
Rnd 2: (Make 2 sc in the next st) 3 times. Sc in each of the next 5 sts. Hdc in each of the next 2 sts. Make 3 hdc in the next st. Make 2 hdc in the next st. Make 3 hdc in the next st. Hdc in each of the next 2 sts. Sc in each of the last 5 sts. (28 sts.)
Rnd 3: Sc in each of the next 2 sts. Make 2 sc in the next st. Sc in the next st, make 2 sc in the next st. Sc in each of the next 8 sts. Hdc in the next st. (Make 2 dc in the next st, dc in the next st) 3 times. Make 2 dc in next st. Hdc in the next st. Sc in the last 6 sts. (34 sts)
Rnd 4: Sc in each of the next 3 sts. Make 2 sc in the next st. Sc in the next st. Make 2 sc in the next st. Sc in each of the next 13 sts. Start Toes: [Ch 1, in the next st make (hdc, dc and hdc) ch 1 and sl st in the next st.) 3 times. Ch 1, in the next st make (hdc, dc and hdc) ch 1. Sc in each of the last 9 sts. Bootie Top-Make 2-Bootie Cuff: With H hook and Yarn, ch 22 loosely. Join the first ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: Ch 3 (counts as the 1st dc now and throughout,) dc in each ch around. Join to the top of the beg ch 3 with a sl st. (22 dc counting first ch-3 as dc, now and throughout.)
Rnd 2: Ch 3, * fpdc around next dc, bpdc around next dc. Repeat from * around. End with fpdc around the last dc. Join with sl st to top of first dc.
Rnds 3-5: Repeat Rnd 2.
Rnd 6: Ch 1, sc in next 11 sts. Hdc in next st. Make 2 dc in the next st. Make 2 trc in next st. (dtrc in next st) 3 times. Make 2 trc in next st. Make 2 dc in the next st. Make hdc in next st. Sc in the last 2 st Join the first sc with sl st.

Finishing: Pin sole of bootie to bootie top with wrong sides together and matching up toes and heel back. (You may have to stretch back a little to match.) With matching yarn and size H hook, sl st through both thickness around to join
Toe Pads – Make 4 for each Bootie
With Black make a mc or ch 2, make 6 sc in the mc or in the 2nd ch from the hook, Join to the 1st sc with a sl st. End of leaving a long tail and sew to toes as shown below.
Heel Pad – Make 1 for each Bootie
Make a magic ring, ch 2.
Rnd 1: Ch 4, (2 tr, 4 dc, tr, 4 dc, 2 tr, ch 4 and sl st) into the magic ring.
Pull the magic ring tightly closed. End off leaving a long tail and sew to heel as shown below.
Claws – If Desired
Attach white cotton crochet thread with a size 7 hook to the end of the toe with a sl st. Make 2 sc in the same sp. Ch 1 and turn.Sk 1st sc and sc in the end st. Ch 1 and end off. Weave the tail through the tip of the claw to the base. Weave in all threads and cut off. Rep on other 3 toes.
