Size
Approximately 3 ½” across and 8” from tip of tail to top of head.
Bottom
Rnd 1: With Black yarn and H hook, ch 2 or make a magic circle. Make 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook or in magic circle. Do no join but do mark 1st st.
Rnd 2: Make (2 sc in next sc) around. (12 sc.)
Rnd 3: Make (sc in next sc, make 2 sc in next sc) around. (18 sc.) Rnd 4: Make (sc in each of the next 2 sc, make 2 sc in next sc) around. (24 sc.)
Rnd 5: Make (sc in each of the next 3 sc, make 2 sc in next sc) around. (30 sc.)
Rnds 6-7: Sc in each of the 30 sc around. At end of rnd 7, sl st into next st. End off black and weave in end. Join yellow in any st.
Rnd 8: Ch 1 and sc in each st around. (30 yellow sc.) Do not Join.
Rnds 9 – 11 : Sc in each sc around. At end of rnd 11, sl st into next st. End off yellow and weave in end. Join black in any stum.
Rnd 12: Ch 1 and sc in each st around. (30 black sc.) Do not Join.
Rnds 13 – 15: Sc in each sc around. At end of rnd 15, sl st into next st. End off black and weave in end. Set piece aside.
Head
Rnd 1: With white yarn and H hook, ch 2 or make a magic circle. Make 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook or in magic circle. Do no join but do mark 1st st.
Rnd 2: Make (2 sc in next sc) around. (12 sc.)
Rnd 3: Make (sc in next sc, make 2 sc in next sc) around. (18 sc.)
Rnd 4: Sc in each of the 18 sts around.
Rnd 5: Make (sc in each of the next 2 sc, make 2 sc in next sc) around. (24 sc.) Rnds 6-7:Sc in each of the 24 sts around.
Rnd 8: Make (sc in each of the next 3 sc, make 2 sc in next sc) around. (30 sc.) Rnds 9-12 : Sc in each of the 30 sts around.
Rnd 13: Make (sc in each of the next 4 sc, make 2 sc in next sc) around. 36 sc.)
Rnd 14: (Sl st in next st. Sc in next st. Hdc in next st. Make 2 dc in next st. Hdc in next st. Sc in next st) around. Sl st into beg st. End off leaving a long tail.
Stuff bottom and top half and sew tog.
Stinger
With black yarn as nd I hook, ch 7.
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. (6 sc made.) Ch 1 and turn.
Row 2: Sc in next 2 sts. Sc next 2 sts tog. Sc in last 2 sts. (5 sc mad er. ) Ch 1 and turn.
Row 3,: Sc in next 2 sts. Sk next st. Sc in last 2 sts. (4 sc made. ) Ch 1 and turn.
Row 4: Sc in 1st st. Sc next 2 sts tog. Sc in last st. (3 sc made.) Ch 1 and turn. Row 5: Sc in next st. Sk next st. Sc in last st. (2 sc mad er. ) Ch 1 and turn.
Row 6: Sc next 2 sts tog. (1 sc made.) End off leaving a long tail.
Thread tail through needle. And sew both sides tog to form a cone.
Stuff tail and sew to bottom of bee.
Eyes -Make 2
Rnd 1: With Black yarn and H hook, ch 2 or make a magic circle. Make 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook or in magic circle. Join to 1st sc with sl st. End off leaving a tail. Sew to ghost as shown below.
