BODY

Rnd 1: With blue yarn and H hook make a magic ring. Ch 1 and make 8 sc in ring. Do not join, but do mark 1st st.

Rnd 2: Make 2 sc in each st around. (16 sts made.)

Rnd 3: (Sc in 1st st. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (24 sts made.)

Rnd 4: (Sc in each of the next 2 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (32 sts made.) Rnd 5: (Sc in each of the next 3 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (40 sts made.) Rnd 6: (Sc in each of the next 4 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (48 sts made.) Rnd 7: (Sc in each of the next 5 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (56 sts made.) Rnd 25: (Sc in each of the next 7 sts. Sc next 2 sts tog for a dec) around. Sc in each of the last 2 sts. (50 sts made.)

Rnd 26: Sc in each st around. (50 sts made.)

Rnd 27: Working in BLO, (Make a sc in each of the next 3 sts, dec over next 2 sts,) around. (40 sts made.)

Rnd 28: Working through both lps (Sc in each of the next 2 sts, dec over next 2 sts,) around (30 sts made.)

Rnd 29: (Sc in next st, dec over next 2 sts,) around (20 sts made.) Stuff the body tightly with fiberfill.

Rnd 30: (Dec over next 2 sts) around. (10 sts made.)

Rnd 31: (Dec over next 2 sts) around. (5 sts made.) End off leaving a long tail. With tail and darning needle, close opening and end off. Weave in ends.

Sew or Glue eyes to body as shown below. Embroider the 2 lines under the eyes as shown below with some white yarn. Set piece aside.

FINS - Make 2

Rnd 1: With Blue yarn and H hook, make a magic ring. Ch 1 and make 5 sc in ring. Do not join, but do mark 1st st.

Rnd 2: Make 2 sc in each st around. (10 sc made.)

Rnd 3: Sc in each of the 10 sc around.

Rnd 4: (Sc in each of the next 4 sts, inc in next st) around. (12 sc made.) Rnd 5: (Sc in each of the next 5 sts, inc in next st) around. (14 sc made.) Rnds 6-9: Sc in each of the 14 sts around.

Rnd 10: (Sc in each of the next 5 sts, dec over next 2 sts) around (12 sts made) End off leaving a tail to sew to side as shown below.

TAIL - Make 2

Rnd 1: With blue yarn and H hook make a magic ring. Ch 1 and make 6 sc in ring. Do not join, but do mark 1st st.

Rnd 2: (Sc in each of the next 2 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (8 sts made.) Rnd 3: (Sc in each of the next 3 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (10 sts made.) Rnd 4: (Sc in each of the next 4 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (12 sts made.) Rnd 5: (Sc in each of the next 5 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (14 sts made.) Rnd 6: Sc in each of the 14 sts around.

Rnd 7: (Sc in each of the next 6 sts. Make 2 sc in next st) around. (16 sts made.)

Rnd 8: Sc in each of the 16 sts around.

Rnd 9: Sc in each of the next 6 sc, dec over next 2 sts.) around. (14 sts made.)

Rnd 10: Sc in each of the next 5 sc, dec over next 2 sts.) around. (12 sts made.)

Rnd 11 Sc in each of the next 4 sc, dec over next 2 sts.) around. (10 sts made.) End off and weave in end for 1st fin only. Once 2nd fin is ready hold both pieces tog with sides

facing and join yarn with a sl st to the 2nd fin.

Rnd 11: Ch 1 and sc in the same st. Sc in each of the next 3 sts, dec over next 2 sts. Sc in each of the next 4 st. Keep crocheting on the other fin, sc in each of the next 4 sts, sc next 2 sts tog, sc in last 4 sts. (18 sts made.)

Rnd 12: (Sc in next st, make dec over next 2 sts) around. (12 sts made.)

Rnd 13: Sc in each of the 12 sts around.

Rnd 12: (Sc in next st, make 2 sc in next st) around. (18 sts made.) Rnd 13: (Sc in each of the next 2 sts, make 2 sc in next st) around. (24 sts made.)

Rnd 14: Sc in each of the 24 sts around.

End off leaving a long tail to sew to back of the body as shown below. Prior to sewing. Stuff the open end lightly NOT the fins.

WATER SPRAY

Rnd 1: With white yarn and H make a magic circle. Ch 1 and sc in ring. Ch 12 and sl st back into ring. Turn and sl st in each of the chs just made. Sl st back into ring. Ch 20 and sl st back into ring. Sl st in each of the 20 chs just made. Cross over loop and sl st back into ring. Ch 12 and sl st back into ring. Turn and sl st in each of the 12 chs just made.

Cross over loop and sl st back into ring.

End off leaving 12" tail. Sew to top as shown below.
