Materials
Worsted weight #4 cotton yarn. Size H Crochet Hook
Large eyed needle to weave in ends Scissors
Instructions
Rnd 1. Create a multi-strand yarn ring approximately 2" in diameter (loop yarn around fingers several times). Join yarn to ring with a sl st.
Rnd 2. Ch 3 (counts as first dc). Work 49 dc into the ring (50 dc total). Ensure stitches cover the yarn loops fully without causing the ring to buckle. Join with sl st to top of beg ch-3.
Rnd 3 (Hanging Loop). Ch 10 (or a length sufficient to fit over your specific cabinet knob). Sl st into the same st as joining to form a loop.
Rnd 4. Ch 2 (counts as first sc). Work 17 sc into the ch-10 loop created in Rnd 3. Ensure the chain is covered and the loop lies flat. Sl st into the nearest dc of the large ring to secure.
Rnd 5. Sc in each dc around the large ring. Join with sl st to the first sc of the hanging loop. Finishing: Fasten off. Weave in all ends securely.
Designer Notes
Sizing: If your cabinet knobs are oversized, increase the chain count in Rnd 3 and adjust the sc count in Rnd 4 accordingly.
Tension: Keep your stitches firm in Rnd 2 to ensure the yarn loops stay hidden and the ring maintains its circular integrity over time
