Worsted weight #4 yarns in Black, Light Blue. Darker Blue. White and Yellow. (About ¼ of an ounce.)

With Black Worsted weight yarn and a size H hook, make a magic circle.
Rnd 1. Ch 2 (does not count as a dc) and make 12 dc into the circle. Tighten the circle. End with a sl st into beg dc. (12 dc made.)
Rnd 2. Ch 2, make 2 dc in each st around. Join to 1st dc with a sl st. (24 dc made.)
Rnd 3. Ch 2, (dc in next dc make 2 dc in next dc) around. Join to 1st dc with a sl st. (36 dc made.)
Rnd 4. Ch 2, dc in each dc around. Join to 1st dc with a sl st. (36 dc made.)
Rnds 5-6. Ch 2, dc in st around. (36 dc) Join the beg sc with a sl st.
Rnd 7. Attaching the elastic band. Lay the band over the last rnd you worked and ch 1. Working in rnd 6 and over the band, sc in each dc around. Join to the beg sc with a sl st. End off and weave in the end.
With light green
Dc in each of the next 2 chs. Hdc in the next ch and sc in each of the last 2 chs. Sl st into the ring.
Trc in each of the next 5 chs. Dc in each of the next 2 chs. Hdc in the next ch and sc in each of the last 2 chs. Sl st back into the ring.
Trc in each of the next 5 chs. Dc in each of the next 2 chs. Hdc in the next ch and sc in each of the last 2 chs. Sl st back into the ring.
Dc in each of the next 2 chs. Hdc in the next ch and sc in each of the last 2 chs. Sl st into the ring.
Step 1. With H hook and yarn, create a magic ring, ch 1 to secure.
Step 2. Ch 6, sl st in 2nd ch from hook and next 4 chs. Sl st into ring. Step 3. Rep from * to * 3 more times to make 4 spikes (peace sign legs). Step 4. Tie tails securely, weave in ends. Set aside.
Circle Base
Rnd 1. With worsted weight yarn an H hook, ch 2 (does not count as a dc) and make 12 dc into the circle. Tighten the circle. End with a sl st into beg dc. (12 dc made.)
Rnd 2. Ch 2, make 2 dc in each st around. Join to 1st dc with a sl st. (24 dc made.) End off and weave in the end.
Rnd 3. Join the color you made the peace sign with in any stitch on Round 2. Position the peace sign on top of the circle. Working through both the circle and the peace sign, sc to attach the first leg.
Sc in the next 3 sts on the circle. Make 2 sc in the next st. Sc in each of the next 3 sts on the circle. Make 2 sc in the next st. Now attach the 2nd leg of the peace sign with a sc through both layers as you did the 1st time.
Sc in each of the next 2 sts on the circle. Attach the 3rd leg with a sc.
Sc in each of the next 2 sts on the circle. Attach the 4th leg with a sc.
All legs attached. Make 2 sc in the next st on the circle. Sc in the next 3 sts on the circle. Make 2 sc in the next st. Sc in each of the last 3 sts on the circle. (28 sc) Join the beg sc with a sl st or an invisible joining. End off and weave in the end.
Rnd 4. Ch 2, (dc in each of the next 3 sts, inc in the next st) around. (35 dc) Join the 2nd ch of the beginning ch 2 with a sl st.
Rnds 5-6. Ch 2, dc in st around. (35 dc) Join the beg sc with a sl st.
Rnd 7. Attaching the elastic band. Lay the band over the last rnd you worked and ch 1. Working in rnd 6 and over the band, sc in each dc around. Join to the beg sc with a sl st. End off and weave in the end.

Eyes - Make 2
We want the eyes to be small so switch to a size D crochet hook and make a magic circle and ch 1 to secure.
Rnd 1. Ch 1 and in the ring make, (a sc, 3 hdc, 2 sc, 3 hdc and a sc.) Join to the 1st sc with a sl st. Weave in the ends. Make the other eye and set aside.
Embroider the Mouth as Shown below.
Glue or sew the eyes as shown above. Enjoy!
