About this crochet pattern
The Royal Mardi Gras Mask is a half-face mask worked in purple cotton crochet thread and finished with silver thread edging and metallic lace. It has curved eye openings, a shaped nose and brow, twisted-cord ties and a layered ornament that flares out from one side.
Once the crochet is done, you stiffen the mask and let it dry over a coffee can or face form so it holds its shape. Wear it to Mardi Gras, a masquerade ball, a costume party or the theater, or hang it on the wall as a decoration.
